2 weeks agoby conceptcreative13 years ago I lived with husband who was 13 years older than me, and I did not care whether my clothes gave me more age or weight . Visually, of course. Some of my garments were oversize, some were in colors that were not suitable for my complexion (like all yellowish shades). When we are young everything looks great on us . But things change, now my partner is in his 30-ies while I'll be 45 soon, so I feel that my clothes should be modest enough, elegant, and don't give me any additional age or weight like most

Gravity, you know Try to stretch all rows that will be around your hips. Of course it's better to wash these rows first because you want to know how yarn will behave. And if you think that lacking one inch (2.5 cm) won't be a problem - stop such thoughts - the gravity will turn you into a sausage wrapped in crochet ☹️ Add more motifs or stitches around your hips because it's better
